How soon can I get a tattoo?
Each of our artists schedules appointments independently. It is best to contact them directly for information on their next available openings. Generally you will have to wait at least a few weeks, and possibly months. Artist may periodically "close their books" or stop taking new clients. This allows them time to finish projects already started, reschedule clients who needed to reschedule, and even make up for time if they get sick without clients having to wait seasons or years. If an artist has closed their books, it means they are not currently accepting new appointment requests.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. We are an appointment only studio, you must set up an appointment to be tattooed.
Do we do piercings?
No. Nor do we sell jewelry.

What happens during a consultation?
A consultation is a preliminary discussion about your tattoo project. These are sometimes done in person, over the phone, or often via email. During a consultation things like placement, sizing, layout, elements of design, length of sitting, etc. will be discussed. You should also bring any references you have relevant to your tattoo so both you and your artist have a visual representation of things similar to elements of your design. A consult is also a time to ask any questions about the process you may have.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, all appointments require a deposit. A deposit holds a date and time for your appointment. Your deposit will come off the total cost for your tattoo. Deposits are not refundable.
How much will my tattoo cost?
We don't know. While your artist will do their best to give you an estimated cost, it's just that, an estimate. So many things affect the time involved in your tattoo, many of which your artist won't know until well into the tattoo. Things such as: details, placement, size, your skin, etc. Our goal is to give you the best possible tattoo. If you have a strict budget mention that to your artist when you first contact your artist.
What forms of payment do we accept?
Each artist may accept different forms of payment.
How can I prepare for my tattoo?
Relax. Dress comfortable. Make sure to rest the night before, bathe, be well hydrated, and eat a decent meal before coming in. Have no time constraints the day of your appointment. Sometimes your design may have to be changed to better work on your body. Other times stenciling takes longer than anticipated, or more breaks are needed. By having an open window that day, no pressure is added to your experience and it is easier to relax and be comfortable. For both you and your artist. Bring anything you need to be more comfortable such as a sweater, pillow, headphones, snacks, or a charger for any devices you wish to use.
Are children allowed?
Absolutely not. No on under the age of 18 is permitted into the studio. If you are unable to make arrangements for you child, contact your artist to reschedule your appointment.
Where do I park?
There are 3 public parking structures and 1 public lot within a block of our studio, and often times there is also street parking.
If I am traveling to be tattooed what should I expect?
Fly in to Mitchell International Airport. It is not an excessively busy airport, but still convenient from anywhere in the country with direct flights. There are multiple hotels within a few blocks and countless restaurants, everything from pub food to chef tasting menu restaurants nearby. We are also near many of the cities attractions, theaters, Lake Michigan, bars, clubs, etc. When speaking with your artist let them know if you're traveling from out of town and they will do their best to make recommendations.
